Walk out the back door of Methow River Lodge and Cabins and experience the Methow Valleys’ finest. Methow River Lodge & Cabins are located on the river, with many recreational activities a stone’s throw away. In the winter bordering our property is an ice rink, cross-country ski trail, sledding hill, ice skate rental & lessons, and ski rental & lessons. The ice rink becomes a roller skating rink and pickleball court when the snow melts. Other summer activities include fishing, floating the river, wildlife watching, and bicycling. Walk across the new Spring Creek Bridge to the western downtown area of Winthrop. These are all activities that can be done without starting your car. Mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, balloon rides, or sitting on the river with a book and relaxing is always a possibility.

“We totally enjoyed our two-night stay at Rich and Dolly’s Methow River Lodge and Cabins, on the banks of the serene Methow River in Winthrop. We loved the coho salmon in the river during spawn! The accommodations of the lodge rooms are superb and we look forward to staying at the cabins next time. The room appointments are of a high standard; perhaps because the owners were once electrical contractors. The attention to detail of the property is also top-flight. An ice rink is a stone’s throw from the lodge, as is a footbridge that takes one to the western-themed town of Winthop. We stayed during a shoulder season in November. The trees are in autumn hue and the crowds are minimal in town. The rates are very competitive. Absolutely tranquil setting for anyone. We highly recommend this gem of the Methow Valley. You wont’ be disappointed!”
