Winthrop Chamber Highlights
The Winthrop Chamber of Commerce has a strong history of joining together for a common good.
Over 110 years ago Guy Waring founded the town of Winthrop and launched the Methow Trading Company encouraging other businesses to join him. In the 1920’s the Winthrop Civic League formed to provide more opportunities for business and community. Winthrop’s crowning business involvement was in the 1970’s when Kathryn Wagner and the Chamber rallied every business to fully commit to Westernization.
Today the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce continues to be a key element in the success of every business in Winthrop. This website proudly showcases the area businesses that are Chamber members. General Chamber meetings are the second Thursday of the month at 8:30am at the Winthrop Barn Auditorium. We would love to have your business join our businesses in making our community as strong as it can be.
