“I have only visited Winthrop on a couple of occasions, but I enjoyed all the shops. What I remember most is the smell of the trees and the sound of the creek running past the window of my room at the inn.
It was a time to get away from city noise and traffic, to enjoy the quiet and calm of being near the forest. Of seeing the occasional deer and imagine myself living there year-round. It wasn’t so much what I did while I was in Winthrop, but more about what I didn’t do. I was able to sit back, relax and just breathe.”
