The Winthrop Vintage Wheel Car Show is one of the most laid-back car shows. Anyone can enter so you’ll see all kinds of cars and characters. Anyone could win, thanks to our generous donors.

In addition to Winthrop’s incredible scenery, there are plenty of unique shops, brew pubs, coffee roasters, and eateries to enjoy, along with the vintage wheels show.

Viewing the Vintage Wheels:
Parade starts on Saturday at 11 am.
Parade Spectators:
You’ll enjoy viewing the car parade along Riverside Avenue downtown Winthrop, WA.
We recommend spectators park at the Winthrop Barn Auditorium or the Winthrop Trailhead and walk into town.
After the parade, the cars park along the north end of Riverside Avenue from noon – 3:30. The trophy winners are announced during this time.
Event t-shirts will be available for sale at registration as well as at the show and shine on Riverside Ave from 11:30-3:30 on the day of the event. $20 cash only.
TO REGISTER YOUR VINTAGE WHEELS:
Option 1: Click on the button below to register your vehicle in advance using a credit card.
Option 2: Register your car in person on Friday, September 15th, from 5-7 pm at Mack Lloyd Park in front of the Winthrop Barn Auditorium. This will be a drive-through registration event. Please remain in your vehicle—$ 20 cash only.
Option 3: Register your car in person right before the parade at the parking lot of the Winthrop Inn on Saturday, September 16th, from 9-10:30 am. $20 cash only.
All Vintage Wheels included in the show will be eligible for awards, including Best in Show, People’s Choice Award, and awards from Winthrop Chamber merchants. T-shirts and poker run cards will be available for sale at registration. Cash only.
Schedule for Contestants:
Gather at the Winthrop Inn located on the east end of Winthrop along Highway 20 as early as 9 am. There will be some announcements and door prizes. We hope to offer refreshments this year.
The parade begins at 11 am from the Winthrop Inn. The parade will travel toward downtown Winthrop, along Riverside Ave, up Bridge Street to Castle avenue, and back through the four-way stop and end, where we will park the cars along the north end of Riverside Avenue. During the parade, your car, name, and hometown will be announced over a loudspeaker as you pass through the four-way stop. When you register you will be given a map of the parade route.
The downtown area will be roped off for cars to park in the street for the Show and Shine. The vehicles should remain there until 3:30 pm during the trophy winner announcements.
The poker run will begin immediately after the Show and Shine and ends at 5 pm.
