An Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas in Winthrop, WA. You’ll see the town lighting, fun for the kids, local shopping discounts, and the best small-town fireworks show in the PNW!

Schedule of events:
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23:
9am- Turkey Trot (Park Run) at the Methow trails lot, 21 Horizon Flats Rd.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24:
10-5 Downtown Visitor’s Information Center, 45 State Rte 20, will be open for answering questions. Local shops will be open for shopping. Check with the individual business hours.
10am-4pm – The Shafer Museum will be open with holiday decorations, a fire outside, and a children’s scavenger hunt for the holidays.
5:30-7:30 pm – Skate with Santa at the Winthrop Rink.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25:
All Day – Local shops, Visitor’s Information Center, and the Winthrop Ice Rink will be open. Check with the individual business for hours.
10am-4pm – The Shafer Museum will be open with holiday decorations, a fire outsdie, and a children’s scavenger hunt for the holidays.
1pm-4pm :
– Children’s Winter Fest, located at the Winthrop Red Barn. Includes Santa photos, hot chocolate, hot dogs, and other treats hosted by the Winthrop Kiwanis.
– Horse Drawn Carriage Rides from the Red Barn to Downtown Winthrop.
3pm :
– Winthrop Booster Club will be selling food, and treats on Riverside Ave.
– Campfires on Riverside Ave.
5 pm – Town lighting . All of the shops in town will turn on their lights on Riverside Ave to bring in the holiday season.
5:05pm – Choir performance and caroling at town hall.
6 pm – Fireworks Extravaganza. A spectacular 20-minute fireworks display is viewable from downtown Winthrop. Online viewing of the fireworks is available on our Facebook Page. Click here.
