Spring Creek Ranch Lodgings
A stay at Spring Creek Ranch is more than just a vacation—it’s an experience that will stay with you for years to come. All of our three lodging options boast private surroundings and personal touches like locally made pottery, handcrafted local soap, Blue Star Coffee, organic herbal tea and plush beds covered in goose-down duvets and Garnet Hill quilts.
With the North Cascade mountains in the distance and the Methow River running along the property, Spring Creek Ranch offers a stunning setting for an outdoor wedding or special event. Set right across the river from the town of Winthrop, in Washington’s Methow Valley. We host one wedding a month from mid-May through the first weekend of October.
Our expansive property is a world unto itself, with sixty acres of pristine countryside bounded by the North Cascade mountains, the Methow River, and Spring Creek, yet it is just a ten-minute stroll from the small-town shops and eateries of Winthrop. In the summer guests can wander along the property’s striking nature walks, take a nap in a riverside hammock, and enjoy wildlife spotting and bird watching. In the winter, enjoy boundless space for snowshoeing and the groomed cross-country ski trails that wind through the property and connect to our famous 120+ kilometers of groomed skiing.
Spring Creek Ranch is owned and operated by three generations of the Belsby family. Owners Gary and Louise Belsby run a cattle, wheat, and hay ranch outside of Cheney, Washington. Gary’s son Daren Belsby and his wife, Sarah Berns and their children manage the day-to-day operations at Spring Creek Ranch. Daren is also a smokejumper at the North Cascades Smokejumpers Base and Sarah is a Doula and writer. She has been named a Finalist for the Sundance Writers Lab three times.
