The Mazama Cabins are located in the heart of some of the best recreational trails in the Northwest. With year-round trails open to hiking, biking, run, skiing, and fat tire biking, the opportunities to explore are endless in the Methow Valley.
The cabins are located near the Mazama Store, which is often considered a rural gathering spot. Try out the store’s delicious baked goods. You won’t regret it!
Methow Reservations features a varied selection of licensed, legal nightly rental cabins to stay a couple of nights or a week or two. The Mazama-Winthrop corridor is scenic. With only a short 20-minute drive from Mazama to Winthrop, you’re sure to spot deer or turkeys crossing the highway.

Lost River Resort
Nestled in the Methow Valley, at the foot of the majestic North Cascades, is the oldest “resort” in the Methow Valley. The Lost River Resort provides easy access to the outdoors, so bring your bike and hiking boots. Accommodations are rustic and original, with upgrades happening over time. The outdoor setting can’t be beaten. Located 6 miles past the tasty and iconic Mazama Country Store, be sure you have provisions when you arrive. It is surrounded by National Forest and State Park. The resort includes six private cabins with rustic interiors, wood stoves, and full kitchens. Seven RV sites with hookups are also available.
Nanasu
I like this house. It feels solid, in a nice 20-acre setting, and with good views. The 2,400 sq. foot house is an amalgam of an existing home that was nicely added onto and well landscaped. It has a varied outdoor space in summer, with sitting spots in the sun or shade. Protected or open. Looking without to the south and west, or within, to the landscaped lawn and garden. It is located just 3 miles from downtown Twisp, 8 miles to Winthrop, and 14 miles to Loup Loup Ski bowl for downhill, luge (sledding) and nordic skiing.
River Pines Inn
River Pines Inn is a newer hotel at the edge of the downtown shops in Winthrop. Located along the river and next to the Sateekhwa footbridge and park, it is in a great location to enjoy all Winthrop offers. All of the rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, in-room coffee, irons/ironing boards, high-quality bedding, log furniture, flat-screen TVs, and access to a common patio area overlooking the river.
Sanctuary in the Woods
This is a wonderful place to perch when visiting the Methow Valley for a month or longer. The house is very close to the Methow Trails, and you can take a short walk OR even shorter drive to head out skiing….and the house is super convenient to Winthrop, just 2 miles from the old west Winthrop boardwalk, on Twin Lakes Road.
Mountain View Retreat
Up high. Up with the soaring birds and the moving air. Up, where the views are all below you. This is the place. Studhorse Mountain rises above Winthrop, and Mountain View Retreat is at the top of the hill, with 360-degree views out the windows. Located on the second story of the log garage.
