The Farm
Brown’s Farm is the perfect spot for your family’s vacation. Our private setting has a lush lawn for lounging or playing in the summer away from traffic and noise. Picnic tables and barbecues await you in the serene outdoor spaces of cool grass and woodlands. The cabins are warm and inviting with complete cooking facilities. Guests are offered complimentary eggs fresh from the farm flock.
We are centrally located to enjoy year-round outdoor activities. The Methow Valley Sport Trails system winds through the valley and mountains from Mazama to Twisp. As a supporter of these trails, Brown’s Farm offers you the convenience of stepping onto the trails right outside your door. They are beautifully groomed in the winter for cross- country skiing. The rest of the year, many of the trails are enjoyed for hiking, biking and horseback riding. With nearly 300 days of sunshine per year, the snow is usually powdery and the air clean and mountain fresh.
Other recreation options include golfing at the Bear Creek Golf Course, river rafting on the Methow River, fly fishing, horseback riding trips, mountain pack trips, bird watching, sleigh rides, and dog sled excursions. You may want to stroll through the old west town of Winthrop to enjoy shopping and dining. Your hosts will gladly make any arrangements for these activities.
